My mom won't let me get a headset to chat online.?

My mom won't let me chat online to get this headset I want and now I don't know what to tell her. She says she doesn't want me to talk to strangers and their "foul language" in a violent game. Please give me a good excuse because I really want to talk with my friends and have fun. Thanks!
 
hey.wt your mom says and do to you is of parental nature.in case you do ,tell frankly that today i wn chat with my friends.you should handle yourself.ok hope you the best!
 
Let her know you won't abuse the privilege and you will do something in return of getting the headset, and that you can block/mute the players that are cursing. I had the same problem with my mom until I told her I would do something in return such as chores are getting good grades in school.

Try a comprimise, offer to get better grades or do more chores and mind better, with the understanding that she could ground you from it at anytime.
And explain that you can actually have private matchs in most games where only yourself and people she already knows are there.
 
Parents always say something about online chat at some point. Fact is, you probably hang out with friends that curse every now and then, right? Same with online. Just tell your mom that either way you are going to be exposed to the language and also that there are filters available to control who talks and does not talk. Good luck!
