My Motorola W385 wont send texts!?

It used to be fine, but around the beginning of December, the phone stopped sending and receiving texts. Whenever I choose the New Message choice, it pops up and says Text or picture and when I choose one, it goes back to the first page! If I choose Inbox, Sent, or Draft, the phone stops responding unless I hit the end call button. Any advice?

Couple ideas...

1) Reset the software. There should be a "Factory Settings" option somewhere...make sure you backup your contacts and return the phone to factory settings because something is messed up in the software.

2) Contact your Provider, I had the Texting turned off on my old phone and know others that have also so you don't text in your pocket or receive junk from "friends". Maybe that was turned on through an accident.
