I CAN GET ON OTHER SITES, BUT THE PS3 HOME PAGE WONT LOAD ALL OF THE WAY.

no u can not get a virus on a ps3. it could be that ur ps3 has a glitch or it could be broke. if i was you i would talk to someone at gamestop and they can give u steps on how to see if ur ps3 is broke or not

Its possible that your internet connection might be to blame. Sometimes small hiccups in the connection can cause it to malfunction. Try turning off the PS3 completely (on the backside of the console) and wait about 10 seconds. Turn it back on and see what happens.

To my knowledge, there are no viruses I know of for the PS3, but I am not 100% sure on that.
