My psp analog stick has mucked up i need help!?

My analog stick sometimes goes all stiff and on the game it keeps going forward without me doing anything. What should i do, should i send it back. How many years guaranty do you get for a psp?

try moving the analog stick in a circle direction repeatedly, if this doesnt work u might wanna get it fixed
