My puppy is whining and my mom needs sleep?

I just got a six month old puppy and he keeps whining when I put him in his crate in our laundry room. My parents' room is really close to the laundry room, so my mom only gets a few hours of sleep because of this. I understand that he whines because he has relieve himself sometimes, but even after I take him out to pee, he keeps whining in his crate. Any solutions? ;3
I suggested putting the crate in my room, but my parents are afraid he might have an accident and stain the carpets (which are new).
So maybe i'll put his crate in the living room (we have wooden floors there) and sleep there?
But the thing is, I don't want to sleep in the living room every night just to get him quiet.
 
Exercise your dog a tired dog will sleep, also dogs are social animals put the dog in his crate in your room so he is around a family member so he feels safe and not alone in the laundry room.
 
This is very typical behavior for puppies. Chances are, he misses his brothers/sisters. DONT go to comfort him when he wines, he will learn that is a way to get attention.

Try moving his crate to one of your bedrooms. If he can hear/smell you he may be more calm. When we got our puppy, the breeder gave us a toy that made heartbeat sounds. It kept him calm because it reminded him of his old litter mates. However, our pup was a lot younger. If yours has been away from his littermates for a while this may not work
 
Unfortunately no quick solutions im afraid. He is probably missing where he was before, maybe brothers and sisters? He does have to learn to be by himself and not to ask to pee during the night.
You just have to persevere and keep going, try not to get up to him every time he whines because that will teach him you will come running every time he wants you to, after all he is a dog and you are the human! lol
Maybe putting in a soft toy for a comforter, or an old jumper of yours so he can smell you and possibly an old blanket over the crate (except the front) to make him feel more secure.

He will be better eventually just don't give in because it will be 10 times harder to get him right when he is older!

at 6 months he should be holding through the night (10 to 6 am) he is whining because he gets attention,. Put him in his crate no talking or attention after his night walk. Cover his crate with a blanket and walk out. No food or water in his crate a good chew toy and that's it. Don't go back in till morning. Once he realizes he gets no attention by whining he will stop.
 
i read somewhere that a particular breed of dog whines when left alone in the night. maybe, you have the same breed (they are cute, small dogs).

you don't have to comfort them all night... please search online, all they need is someone close. it'll help him if you somehow manage to let him sleep in your room. other breeds may learn to live alone but some breeds need love all the time!

it's better to teach him not to spoil your carpet rather than living alone. i am thinking from a practical standpoint - dogs may prove to be life savers when they can reach out to you... not when they are locked up in laundry rooms.

try giving it toys to play with so there`s something in it`s mouth and it can`t whine. or move the crate somewhere else.
 
Well how about you start by growing the FUCK up and facing the factors of real life you JACKASS. You cant get everything you want. I dont go to work in the day so i can "Please" you. We all have our own problems so shut the fuck up.
 
I'll say to you what I've said a dozen times now. Keep him out of the crate. It's cruel and puts a lot of stress on his mind. Most crated animals end up anxious or neurotic. In some cases they become agoraphobic or aggressive. Lock him in the bathroom if you can't trust him to run free. Snuggle with him or sleep with him at night. Think of him as a baby. He needs attention.
 
yeah i had the same problem except that my puppy was 4 weeks old at that tym it probably isnt use to its new home and most pups just whine for human attention it just wants to see you
