My Rant USB Charger wont work on Samsung M320?

Why doesnt my Rant USB Charger work on my Samsung M320? it fits and everything it says Battery Not Connected whenever i use the USB charger, i even tried a different battery it says the same thing.
 
Well it may look the same but its probably not compatible due to different battery specification.
