My Trend Micro or Windows cant update. Errors say "no internet connection" but I...

...do. Trojans are present.? I can't seem to get any kind of updates no matter which browser I set as default. No windows or windows security updates, no Trend Micro updates, and all my System Restore dates have been wiped completely out. Every time I try to update, it just keeps telling me I have no connection, when I do! I've tried Trend Micro's System Cleaner, but the "rootkit driver failed to initialize". Trend micro keeps finding Trojans that may be replicating (73 in one day on one computer). Please help me. It looks as if I'm not alone with this struggle.

Having Trend Micro alone is not enough. You should have at least 2 different anti spyware programs on your computer
