when use no videocard itworks? What the F*** is the problem with my ASUS N6200 made by GeForce. When i turn on my PC, with the video card inserted and monitor outlet inserted as well, the monitor says "NO SIGNAL INPUT" but when I turn it on with the monitor outlet plugged to the motherboard, it works fine but it's very slow on games. It started to NOT work after it restarted on it's own then NOTHING! Please help, I don't want to buy another one cause it's too expensive and I don't have the receipt so I also lost the warranty sticking on to it! PLEASE HELP!

Your SOL. The video card is failing, especially if you know it is over heating. You've already eliminated the monitor as the problem and the computer main video port. Save up, buy another.

If you're lucky, you could contact the manufacturer of the video card and see if it is date stamped for a warranty. Ask about a lower cost refurbished board, or if you can have yours reworked. Check on Ebay for used ones, overstock.com, amazon.com, etc. for people selling theirs.

First of all, make sure your installing the video card in the correct slot on motherboard...
Then check to see if the video card has a fan on board and to make sure that is working when you start up the puter...
Make sure it is recognized in the BIOS...
Make sure you have the correct drivers instaled...look on the manufacturers web site to see if there are any updates to both the drivers and the firmware...
Remeber to disable the onboard videocard through the BIOS before using the upgraded video card...
Make sure you computer case isn't all full of dust and check your air flow...you might want to add another fan or two in the case depending what hardware you have since everything produces heat in there!

Is it an AVG slot or a PCI? How long have you had it?

EDIT: I'd agree with Redneck below me. If it is overheating then its starting to fail and that happens, so you're going to have to buy another one.

I'd suggest TigerDirect.com as they have low prices.
