I have a dachshund ( doxie or wiener dog). I am disabled walking wise. He is the easiest dog i have ever had to care for. One suggestion,..find one already house trained. Mine was so easy and we got him at 3 years old. They are fun, loving and affectionate dogs. They are so playful too.
