nba 2k12 my player rookie showcase and draft?

i got drafted 7th overall to the kings in my player but it is still really annoying how it is near impossible to get drafted rlly high i got drafted 7th and had 40 pts 4 rebs 5 assists and 2 steals in the showcase. if you did that in real life you would be a top three pick at least why is it so unrealistic in this way? and can you be drafted above 5? i also got interviewed by the raptors who have the 5th pick but i droped to 7th to the kings even though my answers were perfect to the raptors!
 
IDK,if u can get top 5. But 7 aint bad. That the highest i seen someone get drafted so far, i got drafted by the bucks 10 overall. But what I do know is that no matter what u will get drafted by teams that interview u.
