The 2012 NBA All-Star Game is a thing of the past. That means we are now officially in the second half of the season. There are definitely some teams that have separated themselves from everybody else. Here’s our look at the best teams in the league in this version of our NBA power rankings.

1. Miami Heat
When the Heat is on, nobody can do anything about it.

2. Oklahoma City Thunder
In the West, the Thunder are the team to beat.

3. Chicago Bulls
Their defense is the NBA’s best.

4. San Antonio Spurs
We always forget about those pesky Spurs.

5. Los Angeles Clippers
Lob City is as dangerous as any team in the West.

6. Dallas Mavericks
The defending champs are playing a lot better lately.

7. Los Angeles Lakers
If the Lakers get some point guard help, watch out!

8. Indiana Pacers
The Pacers are definitely the sleeper team of the East.

9. Memphis Grizzlies
Once they get healthy, the Grizzlies will be a bear.

10. Philadelphia 76ers
They’ve cooled off recently but their D remains stout.
