Need help on The Sims Freeplay game fore the ipod/ipad/iphone?

I have just started the game on the ipod I have myslef and Betty Walker.The task I have to do is inspire 2 sims. I dont know hlow to do it,im so confused. Do I need to buy another sim and if I do how do I buy a new sim?
How do I earn loads of money easily???
