my battery in my truck keeps going bad, im pretty sure its my fuses. id like to pull my interior lights & radio bat fuse. i dont know what they are labeled as. can you tell me their labels under the fuse box? or if you have had this problem what your solution has been?

its not the fuse that's causing the problem. it sounds like you have a parasitic drain on your battery. your going in the right direction of pulling the fuses but what you have too look at is what are those fuses protecting. there are loads on the fused circuits. and what you do is hook a test light in series with your negative Ground cable on your battery. negative Ground cable disconnected and then you hook your test light up to the negative ground cable and the other end to the negative terminal on your battery with the key off. and when the lights on you pull fuses until the light goes out in the test light. when you pull a fuse and the light turns off then the problem is on the circuit the that fuse protects.then you start eliminating load at that point. an example of a load is a light bulb or a resistor aftermarket radios r a big problem sometimes. ususually Ill'll have a short to ground going through the load causing this problem.

If your battery is going dead you may need a new battery. If you purchase one from Wal-mart, they will test it. If your battery was new and it drained it, then you need to replace your alternator.

it should be labeled on the fuse block door but they would,nt be running the battery down as long as the lights and radio is going off. battery going dead is probably a short in the alternator or you have a weak cell.

if your battery keeps going dead check the battery connections make sure they are clean and tight, then go and have your alternator tested, its more likely a bad alternator than a fuse.

let me tell you this: 1) your fuses do not make your battery go bad or dead.
2) your interior light is called the dome light
3) your radio is still called a radio

This is all true in America.
If your battery is going dead then you either have
a) a short circuit
b) bad voltage regulator
c) a dome light switch is bad in one of your doors

Is your alternator working?

if you have a short circuit it will drain your battery just as a dome light switch will
