Need something to rant about for english?

Hey I need to make a draft for a rant to be used for my GSCE I am 14 years old (just to point that out so nothing overboard) it must be between 500-700words so please something that can go into a lot of detail

Rant about the Chinese and Russians putting the mockers
on NATO's plan's of sorting out the political bullies in the
Syrian government.
Or if you think these Two have got it right and that NATO
have got it wrong,then you could rant from that perspective.

A known controversial issue such as euthanasia / the monarchy (especially with recent changes to heir succession) / private versus public education would be good. You could provide an outline of what you intend to address by arguing both sides and coming to a balanced conclusion. I did a presentation on the monarchy for my GCSE two years ago which scored very highly.

Rants...rants. Well if I were to rant about the English language, I would go for something that has to do with unconventional pronunciation/spelling of certain words - Why does "x" have to sound like "z"? Why can't things be simply pronounced just like they're spelled? I can't stand silent e's!!

Or you could go for something like, "Why is it that the English language needs to adopt so many foreign words and terms? Why do we need the word 'ciche' when we can just say 'uptown' or 'hors de ouvres' when we can just say 'appetizer?' I mean 'uptown' and 'appetizer' are ENGLISH words. So let's stick with our own language here!!"
