need to get back deleted items on my motorola droid?

I plugged my phone into my computer and then unplugged it a few minutes later. All the pictures are gone on my phone but it says they are on there when I plug it in. How do I see them on the phone then?

It says under "Gallery" There are no items in your collection. When I open up the folder for my phone when I plug it in all the pictures are there. What gives?

Could possibly a glitch on the phone? Open up the folder on your computer. Remove them from the phone and place on computer. disconnect phone, turn it off then back on, move ohotos back, disconnect phone again and check if pics are there.
