Ok, so I have Degenerative Disc Disease, bulging discs in my neck and this past week I really hurt my lower back. I'm about 70lbs overweight and due to the aforementioned issues am a bit limited to what types of exercise I can do.
Walking is just way too boring for me so I thought I would invest in a recumbent bike for my apartment. I've been looking at the Gold's Gym Power 230 Recumbent Bike for a price of $237. I'm on a tight budget and don't want to spend more than $250.
Any opinions on recumbent bikes? I already know about diet, I actually eat healthy for the most part, but my body is the type that doesn't lose weight unless I actually exercise!
I'm only 36 years old and am thinking if I can lose some weight maybe my body won't hurt all the time!
Any other exercise suggestions are welcomed, but I AM limited so don't tell me to lift weights 'cause my neck problems prevent me from doing so. I need low-impact and not something where I'm using my shoulder/neck area extensively.
Thanks!
