Before I begun the reformatting, I was backing up 1 more piece of data onto my external. Then when i put in the windows disk, I deleted the petitions that i wanted to, but accidently selected my external to install windows on! My screen then turned black, and I realized what I had done. Now when i plug in my external, it asks me to format it. I'm pretty sure I can get my files out, but i dont know how! Please someone help me recover my files from my external, it is corrupt and i cant directly enter my external! Is there a way i can recover the files before i format my external again??
