New account on t-mobile. HELP!?

I went online and ordered new serivce online. I KNOW i have terrible credit so im wondering if there is a deposit and when i pay it? Also they sent me a email today and said that its been shipped. Is it already activated when i receive it? I didnt have to pay anything when i ordered last nite bc i got a free phone. please help! 10 points for someone who knows whast there talkin about..perferrably who has done this before
& I just looked on there website & It says simcard free..I didnt check the box to get one when i ordered my phone...It will come with one rite?

First, you should know that T-Mobile's site has an extensive community. If you have any questions about their service, you should direct them there are you will probably get better answers (and often directly from T-Mobile employees).

Anyhow, if they didn't require you to pay a deposit when you ordered it then the answer is no. They aren't going to ship you the phone and then magically add a $300 charge to your bill. When you ordered, I'm guessing they asked for a credit card and social security number. Those are both for verification purposes, and the only thing that should show up is a $1 charge that will fall off your credit card. They do that to verify that the card is yours. That's it. They wouldn't let you place your order if your credit was bad enough to bar you from using their service without a deposit.
