Newbie COD Question!?

First of all, I'm new to Yahoo Answers! So thank you in advanced for the help! Second of all, YES I am a girl and I do play Call of Duty! I am on the PS3, and literally just started playing Modern Warfare 2! My guy-friend totally got me hooked on playing. (before I only played games like little big planet and those kind of mindless games) ANYWAYS! I'm about 50% done with the Campaign and started playing online. Truth be told I thought I would be a little better ha. They only way I don't get last place is if I play domination and just run, get lucky and capture points. But even then I'll have like 5 kills and 753 deaths (exaggeration, but still!) I am just having trouble lining people up when aiming. And as I am sure you all know, It doesn't take a veteran at the game more than a second to line me up and kill me. If an enemy is to my right I'll aim WAY too far right, and when I try to adjust, I get blown away. I've tried sniping, and miss every single time. And when someone comes around the corner really fast, my reaction time is too slow, and I hesitate on knifing. I know I'm new but, shouldn't I at least get a few more kills? What class do you think is best for me? I've been using the sub machine guns because they have a pretty large amount of bullets and sometimes I'll get lucky and waste a whole clip and get a kill... (I know... I suck.) Any suggestions at all..? I feel bad for the people on my team, and feel that they get pissed off... Well actually I know some of them do because they've made fun of me by reading off my Kill/Death ratio and it makes me almost not want to keep playing! I feel like I fit the stereotypical "girl gamer." I am good at little big planet though lol :P any help or tips would be GREATLY appreciated. Just thought I'd type this up and ask while I wait for my turn!

P.S.
Also, is there a way to get matched up with lower level players? It says it's trying to find a "good match" for me or something, then I get a game where everyone is like lvl 999999 and their "title" is something ridiculous like commander-in-chief (also an exaggeration) but still it's really not fair!!!

I understand your frustration as I am a 'girl gamer' COD MW2 or any FPS for that matter it takes time to get used to the game, to the maps, the sensitivity and the weapons.
Take your time trying out different weapons on private matches and find a weapon that you like. I know you are limited at first so try using a default class.
When everyone has a go at you for a bad KD tell them you had lag, got a phone call or something.
Just remember take your time get used to the game play and be patient.

just use the riot shield crouch to protect your feet and scare the shit out of them and then when they run away or try to run around and use their knife on u just throw a grenade and youll kill them and unfortunately sometimes kill yourself

okay, about the K/D you say you've been getting lol... that's expected at this point in the game's life. anyone who's coming in new to online is bound to be disappointed for the first 100 games or so because everyone else in the game has already been playing for a very long time.

it's not your fault.... they've just been doing it a while and know how to take advantage of the new people (i am guilty lol)

the best way to counter this is make sure to Watch Ze Kill Cams.... and watch how you die, and try to think about what you could have done to prevent the death, and try to think this up fast -- as that's what you'll need to be doing to come out #1

make sure to learn from your mistakes, and try to predict where people will be and what they'll do.
