Newly bought Nexus One (core features stoned) Like bluetooth, etc?

So I go to settings - wireless settings - then I saw that I can tap wifi, airplane mode, but when it comes to bluetooth... Its stoned. Graycolor and when I tap at it, the green check doesn't appear.

I was wondering, is it because I haven't put any sim card on my N1..?
