nokia x3 touch and type after sending text issue?

i have have found the phone a real bargain! it seems to be packed full of features for its price.

the only issue is.....after sending a text it plays out its messaging ring tone
so even though nothing has been received such as a text....after sending one it still plays it where it flashes current balance
get rid of that anyone????
