Now that President Obama has successfully reduced the unemployment rate, will...

The economy has been off the cliff since at least 2004. For the slide to have been reduced and reversed in this short a time is beyond anything any informed person could have hoped for. But I think holiday hiring is part of this quarter's little blip, and will wait and see what happens after January.

Obama now has two straight months of double-digit unemployment.

Bush had 3 straight months below 5%.

Call me back when Obama does something worthy of recognition. The drop in unemployment is from holiday hiring.

No, republicans are the people in the neighborhood who have the perfect kids, lawn, car, house, no hair out of place & they put everyone else down constantly. Of course, libs know their kids aren't perfect cause their kids come to us with their problems cause they wouldn't dare tell their parents they are in trouble. This people live in a world that is fake. They can't see how the greediest people use them & pay right wing media to brain wash them. They ignore anything if it is one package such as a republcian package. So if Sarah Palin won't show her medical records that is fine with them. They know her sister told the world that Sarah never even told her parents or her that she was pregnant & called one day to say she had a baby. They know her daughter who was about 15 at this time was out of school for months before & after the birth of this child. The have a long undeniable list of the lies this women tells but they don't care. So how can they stop whining. It will never happen. It is not in their brainwashed minds. They did the same thing when Clinton was in office. While their worst problem back then was how long they had to wait for a table at a restaurant they still whined.

never

lol, I almost had trouble typing as I saw answers giving credit to Bush.

Ahh man, that's hilarious. Conservatives take Bush off the hook for the second greatest economic collapse in our history and put it all on Obama the second he assumes the office but when anything good happens, even 9-10 months in, they give the credit to GW.

conservatives never cease to amaze me...in a bad way

Since this is traditionally a time of year that many companies hire lots of part time temporary employees I seriously doubt that this is a lasting drop in the unemployment rate. Let's wait and see what happens in the next couple of months.

Let's see, at 10.2% there are 15 million unemployed. At 10% the number of unemployed is mathematically a 14.8 million. Given that the government makes up these statistics, I do not feel compelled to yell Yahoo!

You are on Crack!!!

The unemployment rate went from 10.2% to 10%. This figure has no bearing on the people out of work. It's only a figure of how many people are filing unemployment.

While unemployment has dropped a little, it doesn't mean President Obama is successful yet. I believe he will be but this will take time.
And nothing will keep cons from whining, it is all they have left.
