Can someone explain this is vivid detail and give me an example?
OhioRevisedCode:2907.04

No person who is eighteen years of age or older shall engage in sexual conduct with another, who is not the spouse of the offender, when the offender knows the other person is thirteen years of age or older but less than sixteen years of age, or the offender is reckless in that regard.

Does this mean that anyone 18+ can legally engage in intercourse with someone who is 16+? Idk if this is a rumor, but I've heard that the "adult" cannot be no more than 4 years older than the 16+. Is this true?

It also says that: (2) Except as otherwise provided in division (B)(4) of this section, if the offender is less than four years older than the other person, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor is a misdemeanor of the first degree.

So, if the age of consent is 16+, then why does it say that if the offender is less than four years older than the other person, unlawful sexual conduct with a minor has been committed?

Help me understand this.
