should i curl and do push u[s with them one day and then the next day just do situps only so basically take a brake from dumb bells for one day and then do sit ups then take a day break from them and so on and so forth or should i take more than a one day break from eachh

When you work them is not as important as is giving a day (minimum) of rest to any muscle group you work. Example: Push-ups, situps, curls Monday, Rest Tuesday. Or, Pushups and situps monday, curls tuesday, repeat.

You need a one-day break from any weight-training. Also, if you can life them more than 15 reps then they're too light for you.

I agree with "Be More," but also you should try doing different things with your dumbbells than curls, like triceps extension, dumbbell raises, and there are many other things you can do. google it or youtube it.

Don't take breaks for sit ups, the abdomen is one muscle that can be constantly worked. Also, counter the sit ups with a lower back workout, it keeps you center of balence in check.
Finally, if you feel your arms are still sore the next day from curls, wait a day, if not curl every day and be sure to eat protien. Some suppliments are healthy as well.

Hope this helps
