...show from over a decade ago...? I can't remember much about it but that it was very interesting. It was about people that could travel through space to other planets I believe. I swear in was aired around the "Friends" era... I remember one episode where a character was taken by some type of creature in a quicksand pit... Weird question but I'd love to remember lol 
I also believe it was canceled quickly... just because I didn't watch it long term but loved it
