Well it sounds like you could work on your friendship with the father so that he doesn't feel so uncomfortable visiting his child. Could there be unnecessary tension in the room? Not good if there is because the child can sense this,. You need to do whatever you can do to make it a positive experience for the child. Even if it means being nice to the father for the short time he's around.
 
syke ... now heres the real question

Im not with my 6 month old sons father any more we broke up when i got pregnant... and he dissapeared till the babys was 4 months old he came back.. now he comes to see his son once a week I could tell he doesnt want to be here he comes with a bad attitude he doesnt talk to me he plays with the baby for like a half an hour then leaves.. he never looks happy and always looks like hes forcing him self to come here.. should i just tell him not to come back I know he doesnt really want to be here why is he even coming if he really doesnt want too ??
