claim or file a law suit for being robbed.? The wife and her husband were robbed while on a cruise during which time the ship was under Liberia flag. Does the wife have the right to make a law suit regarding her husbands stolen materials?

The husband should file suit, since it was his materials.

But the question is... who will you sue? Do you know who took it?

If you want to sue the cruise line, US law allows you to sue them in the county where the cruise departed from -- even if the damage happened in international waters.

As long as a ship is in international waters its subjected to the jusristiction and laws of the country of which it flies its flag. find out about liberian laws.
