greet each other? Do you hug and kiss each other on the cheek? do you just shake hands and say HI? What? Please provide "What If" scenarios like these.
 
You say Hello and be pleasant - if you are both comfortable with a hug and a kiss on the cheek and so is the people you are both with it's okay. But if anyone is uncomfortable with it - just a nice Hello.
 
Just saying hello is enough, why would there have to ben any phycial contact? I have a lot of good friends and exe's saying hi is all that is necessay.
