One Dollar Joke Bribe on an Essay?

If you turned in an essay to one of your teachers and taped a dollar bill on the back as a joke, do you think they could seriously card you for academic dishonesty?
Also, teacher has a good sense of humor, and even put an implication that it wasn't serious in self-elvauations n' such.
