p90x Nutrition plan questions?

This is to anyone who is doing P90X. I,m on my 28th day and i love it but i have a problem i haven't lost any weight and i don't know why. I have been trying to stick with the meal plan best i can i do eat healthy even when i don't. I read that you had to increase your calorie intake as you go to adapt to your body as it gets stronger. I calculated that i'm suppose to be eating 1800 to 2300 but i've only been eating around 1500 to 1800 at the most, do i need to eat more to start losing weight and get out of this eating plateau ???

Also do i have to stick to this eating plan or can i just do my usual eating habits but just add more calories.? I'm a healthy eater to begin with.
