Pains on lower stomach?

For over a week I've been experiencing shooting pains in my lower right stomach (the right lymph node area). What could this be? If I am just ovulating, why is this not also occuring on the left side? Could it be something more serious? I have extremely irregular periods (about 3 a year), I do not take birth control, I have never had a child and I am not sexually active. If in fact I do get my period this month (I got it last month), I should probably get it in the next few days.
