PDA/ Smartphone question?

ok, i found a phone that i really like on ebay ( pda/smartphone ) and i have one question!!!!! If I already have an account at verizon and it is not time for an upgrade and i bought the pda from ebay could i take it to the verizon store and let them put it on my account and take off the other phone that i have now ???!!! P.S: the phone on ebay is a verizon phone. please help me i am really trying to figure this out and it is bugging me to death!!!

Yes, I bought a Blackberry from ebay and I was able to switch my account to my new blackberry. They charged be a small fee of $15 The good thing about ebay is that you can switch phones over and over without changing contract. I hope this helps!

Im not sure about Verison but im in canada. With the CDMA network which verison is on you should be able to do that but if the phone being sold was reported lost or stolen they wont let you add it on because its stolen property. which technicly you could get charged. Just ring up verion n ask then and also get the ESN number from the seller and call verion with it to check if its on someones account and if you can use it
