is deemed to be or Christian because you actually are? I ask this because the U.K is really a multi cultural country now and no longer a Christian country however when it come to Muslims we all of a sudden become Christian and want our beliefs to be heard and don't want their laws imposed in government or schools. So we say "This is a Christian nation and there is no place for Sharia law or Muslims"

So are you Christian or under the false pretence just because your history/country is deemed to be?

the law (and education, and government) should be absolutely separate from religion...that is why there is no place for sharia law.

i am not christian because my country is christian....i am atheist

The queen is head of the Church of England (Anglican in other counties)

-Other than that it's personal choice like any other democracy

I'm not Christian.

We have Darwin's image printed on our money, what does that tell you?

I would get very annoyed if I heard someone say to me that this was a Christian country.

I'm atheist. I think faith schools are a terrible idea and I wish somebody in politics would have the nerve to do something about it.

I'm a Christian from the UK, and the UK is not Christian at all, it's secular. I think you're right about the people who say that, they just use the Christian name tag when it suits them.
