People think I am Turkish and are making jokes that I am.?

I am a ethnicaly mixed person with mixed blood aka dirty blood aka mud blood through out my life people have called me things that i am not connected to in any way. But I tried to ask my parents what i am and they do not tell me, well we all do not really know what we are until we really look into our ancestry. I really want to know what being turkish means and i am not turkish so please HELP.

"Turkish" means you are from Turkey (that's a country) or have ancestors that were. (Look at something called an "atlas" for the other 190 or so countries and their demonyms.)
