I need some advice by mature individuals only please. I was hurt on my neighbors property during a sledding accident last winter. Here is what happened, the snow was heavy, my son didn't have enough weight behind him to get going down the hill. I decided to start a path for him. While going down the sled, out of the snow came up a piece of re-bar that was buried. It ripped though the sled, through my pants and tore me up pretty bad rectally that i needed emergency surgery to repair the damage. I still over 6 month later have some personal issues from this accident. I hired a lawyer to try and recoup some of the money I have had to pay for medical bills but the insurance company has decided to deny the claim. My lawyer said to give him a couple weeks to decide what to do next. He called it entrapment of the unwary. If anyone has any advice on what my next step should be I would be grateful!
