Peyton Manning is about to have a new home. The legend formerly of the Indianapolis Colts has decided what team he wants to play for next: the Denver Broncos. While the contract details still need to be hammered out, insiders expect that it will get done within a few days.
For the Broncos, this is obviously great news. If Manning can even return to 80% of his normal level of play, he’s still a great quarterback. Add in Denver’s strong D and the Broncos are suddenly a Super Bowl contender.
However, there will be one section of fans who aren’t thrilled with this news: Tim Tebow fans. With Manning going to the Broncos, that means Tebow’s days as a starter are over.
Manning missed all of last season due to multiple neck surgeries. While he’s still not 100%, he’s been cleared to continue his football career.
