Places to buy phones in good shape for cheap?

So I had the music express phone from T-mobile for about 5 months and took really good care of it and the direction key went to crap and keeps turning off. we paid 275 for it and my parents won't buy another one for that much. Where is a place to get a decent phone for a cheap? thank you

you can probably find new, good, but cheap phones on ebay or craigslist
