Please ANSWER MY QUESTION... is this unusual?

So.. I take my BC regularly!! IF I am late which is almost never it is less than an hour!! I have unprotected sex with my boyfriend, bc I have been on it a while and we are both STD free!! Well, I get my period usually around the third day of my inactive pills.. as I did this month. But the unusual part is that I have not bled as much as I usually do. It is very light.. I have had it for about three days now and it is not enough to fill a tampon. It is a bit brown but but it is also BLOOD RED as well!! I usually have a heavy period but this month is so diffrent!! Is this implantation bleeding or is it just a light period???

I have been on BC for over half a year!!
 
Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding, especially if it is brown! And bleeding very lightly is another sign of that. I think you should definitely go on to the store and get a test. You dont want to be taking BC if you are, so find out right away.
