still go to heaven? I go to a public high school. Im about to join the Navy. And I do and have done worldly things that i know i can stop like drinking and stuff but i really dont want to. I know i should give anything distancing myself from God over to him but Im having a hard time with it and i honestly just want to know what happens if i do to much of the whole talking the talk thing but not actually walking the walk?
Just to add in, im wondering how on earth could ANYONE stop sinning. We were born into sin. Its impossible not to sin.
 
Of course its possible to stop most sins.It just takes the discipline needed to dedicate yourself completely to Christ which must be done in order to make it through the very selective salvation process.

You tell me whether it looks like this will allow you to dedicate your life to an arm of the government's killing machine while you continue to live a life in sin:

Matthew 10:38-39

38And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me.39Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].
