Does smoking cigarettes interfere with the chemo process.....i'm being treated for Hodgkins LYMPHOMA with ABVD chemotherapy

I know smoking is bad but will it affect me in the situation that i described above.....please give me real facts not opinions...thx a lot...appreciate it
