Please, please, please help me solve this riddle?

I just went on a stroll through the woods with my friend Hoppy. As most of you know that naughty rabbit tricked me out of ALL MY BANANAS! In my blinding rage, I pushed Hoppy down a deep hole in the woods :/ It turns out the hole is 30 feet deep! Now, Hoppy can jump 3-feet up the hole everyday, but the muddy walls make him slide down 2-feet everyday. How many days do you figure it will take Hoppy to escape to get his revenge on me?..
 
Hoppy will get his revenge in 27 days.
Even if you would of gone so far away from him if you ran away...
 
This is not a riddle. It's a simple maths problems for eight year olds.
