I had a bit of a shock today at the mall. A stroller that had a LCD screen attached to the handlebar and showing a cartoon for the toddler.
I am not usually one to judge but I thought to myself that surely the kid would be better off looking at something else than a DVD he might have already seen 20 times. There are lots of things to look at in a big mall, and people, observations should be made in order to develop the brain. Children learn by being curious and asking questions.
Also if you can't take your kid out for a couple of hours without the need to keep him quiet with a cartoon, there is a problem!
Could be a new trend, I just find it a touch disturbing. What do you think? Is that common where you live?
