I have not found an option in VLC to control the player (skip track, volume, pause/play) via a bluetooth headset. I am using BlueSoleil to connect the headphones, if it matters.
It would be nice to have this feature, as VLC is my FAVE media player, and it would be a shame for its functionality to be undercut by this one thing.
