When an Aussie,English or other countries actor goes over to USA to be in film they are made to speak with an American accent. Now this movie with Tom Cruise, he is SUPPOSED to be German, "HELLO" where is his accent, is he that bad he can't do it ? well I think I have just answered my own question.
 
Because Cruise cannot act. If you notice his characters are all the same type of person. He is not very good at spreading his wings.

When Kevin Costner played Robin Hood, he kept slipping in and out of his English accent. I couldn't believe they actually released that movie.
