Precisely how did the world change immediately after Christ's alleged crucifixion...

His Promise was fulfilled in that The Holy Spirit was sent to His Believers. Thousands were converted to Christianity Prior to this event there was no religion that said "Christ has died, Christ is Risen, Christ will come again."

It didn't really. It carried on regardless of Christs presence or not. Through the physical death of Christ, there were more religions that became anti christ. Over the centuries the original format that Christ had presented to the people of that day has been changed many times to suit whoever what ever religion or cult. Consider the reborn christians of today. Do they really have the truth as Jesus and God had intended. Basically a lot of the reborn christians can be the most fanatical and judgemental of all.

It didn't change "Immediately".
It took a generation for few to speak about something that no one at the time heard about in there region (even though it was only like 50 years max before them).

And it took until the 4th century for the bible to be constructed. After that, well, mass genocide and Europe fell into a Dark Age that lasted over 800 years because of the new found religion. Which led to a mass genocide in South America in the 1400's.

So yeah, you tell me, did it change?

It did not change immediately. Early Christians were viewed as superstitious people by the Romans. Though the Romans acknowledged that when the "Christians" met, it would be to encourage each other toward moral living. So Christianity didn't have a quick effect on government, but it did quickly gain a following, especially among the disadvantaged (poor, women, slaves etc).
