Problem logging in to email account on Samsung Wave?

When I go to set my email account up on the Samsung Wave it doesn't work, I'm on Yahoo and it says Invalid User Name / Password. I can go to the Yahoo App and log in fine though, is there something else I need to do on the phone 1st or a setting within Yahoo Mail that needs to be changed ?

Could you please let me wht exactly you are getting when you try to enter username and password?
Are you getting the error message immediately or is it taking you to settings screen??
