Problems with my iTouch wifi connection?

I can no longer get a signal on my itouch. I could be in my room and use it a few rooms away but now I can't. Now I have to be exactly right next to the modem (or whatever you call it) just to get a signal.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
How do you not know what a itouch is???
 
One of these days I'm going to figure out what an iTouch is!!!!!!!!

I've even checked ebay and can't find any there!!!!
