Proof of your religion?

Without using the Bible or other religious texts as proof, can you prove that your religion is true? You also can't say that you "just know" it is true or anything.
Sorry, guys. I didn't mean to get everyone super mad I was just asking. I'm really interested in religion.
 
There is no way to prove any religion. Which is the exact reason for being atheist, lack of proof. But there is also no solid fact that 100% proves atheism to be true either. It makes sense logically, but that doesn't entirely mean god couldn't have had something to do with creation.

I say this as an atheist who, for discussion sake, is trying not to be biased.

I don't believe in god, and no matter how stubborn some people are, no one knows the real "truth". We all just have our opinions and belief systems and faiths that get us through our daily lives and help us to be the people we are. We won't truly know the facts until we die.

Well when you don't want the actual and only proof, then what else do you expect as proof?

Isn't that MIRACULOUS? THATS SIGN ENOUGH FOR ME THAT ONLY GOD can influence something like that.
 
Look at the universe, everything is so perfect, is we were any closer to the sun wed bake, if we wer farther wed freeze. 2 atoms colidding couldnt make it that perfect. God is real
 
Explain to me how the earth was created why you breath explain to me why the grass starts out green and then dies with the internet and text as proof explain to me how a man living homeless for 10 years all the sudden becomes famous because somebody with a camera just so happened to be driving by and he stated that he had just start giving thanks to GOD regardless of his situation now he is the voice for many companies you here GOD talking to you all the time and you dont know it him speaking to you is all the proof you need to know to know he exist

The work of God has been evident in my life. The nature of things around conveys his presence.
 
I'm Christian, but I don't always go by the bible. Honestly I tried to read the bible on separate occasions, but I don't understand everything it says.

I can say that I've prayed to God in my times of hardship, and he answered my prayers. You don't always get what you want, but I believe he is constantly giving us the opportunity to get what we ask for. Everything in life can't be handed to you, God gives us obstacles.

I wanted my brother to survive, but it was his time. My brother's spirit visited me and my family members, even my other little brother who was only 6 at the time. He couldn't possibly be lying, when he was deep asleep, and my parents were crying in the middle of the night, and he whispered while still asleep, it's okay mommy, Chris is in heaven. My dad also saw him with his guardian angel.

And at the times I missed him most, I can swear he has pat my head, I don't see him, and it's almost not a physical touch, more like a tingling, beyond my understanding. But there is an afterlife, and God is real. This is coming from a person who is only 17, and doesn't go to church. I'm not a crazy over religious, over the top type of person. I've done a lot of things I shouldn't have, to numb my pain. But I believe everything I do is for a reason, and with God's help I can do great things with my life. So can you.
 
Of course they can't. The honest ones will all admit that; the others will claim to have proof/evidence, but will present baseless claims, logical fallacies, or straight out lies.
 
All sacred texts are like manuals.
They instruct but do not prove.
If i kept reading the instructions on how to put up a shelf without carrying out the instructions then i will never see the shelf.
One has to put the all the texts down at some point and actually carry out the instructions.
The result of my actions are my proof.
You would have to carry out the instructions yourself for your own proof.
People ask for proof of God all the time but it cannot be transferred from one to another..you have to follow the steps in the texts yourself to find out.

I'm not mad at all..your question is valid.
