PS3 internet to 360 via Ethernet cable?

I have a wireless router in one different area of my house, while my PS3 and 360 are in my room. I don't have an extra Ethernet cable to try this, but I have no wifi connector for my 360 and I would like to know if I could hook up an Ethernet cable from my ps3 (which has access to the router with wifi) to my 360 and gain internet connection for xbox live.
 
I dont think you can bridge a connection using your PS3. If you could, then you would need to buy a crossover cable anyways because you are connecting two like devices.
