PS3 slim 120 or blue-ray player?

I was wondering what type of device I should get. Because i wanted to get a blue-ray player, but i also wanted to get a game Console like the ps3. But what i heard about the ps3 was that the laser Lens would ware out. Would Sony fix it for me if it to ware out because i have a Sony store/ re-pair shop. please help me out.
 
PS3!! play games and watch bluray and no it wont ware out unless u play it like 24/7 or leave it on for a long longlonglong...... time
 
Well the PS3 is one of the best Blu-Ray players available. If you try to save a couple bucks and get a cheaper blu-ray disc player, be prepared to suffer from long loading times.
